GUAN ENG MULA BUAT HAL! TEMAN DAH KATA DAH!

Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang menuntut penjelasan tentang kadar kenaikan Tol Jambatan Pulau Pinang sekiranya Jambatan Kedua Pulau Pinang dibuka kelak.

Teman pun heghan, apa punya busuk hati Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang, hingga semuanye Kerajaan BN buat tak betul.  Agak-agak la.  Kemudahan untuk rakyat.  Jambatan Kedua Pulau Pinang lambat lagi nak siap. Projek Mega bernilai 40 juta tu! Weh! Apek ni tak jawab sepatah pun.  Jawab la..kaya der..heeee...

Malaysian Insider : GEORGE TOWN, Nov 22 — Penang’s iconic Komtar will get a RM40 million facelift in a 30-month project.  The project, to be carried out by World Equipment Sdn Bhd, will see levels five, 59, 60, 64 and 65 being upgraded, refurbished and transformed within that period.

This exercise is one of the initiatives undertaken by the state government and
Penang Development Corporation (PDC) to bring shine and glory back to Komtar.

PDC signed an agreement with World Equipment after the latter won a bid in PDC’s Request For Proposal in 2010.

World Equipment is a subsidiary of Only World Group (OWG), a theme park consultancy and builder.

In the revitalisation project, the premises will be leased to OWG at a reasonable rate for a 45-year period with an option to renew for another 15 years.

The project will include four phases; The Boulevard which encompassed the whole of level five.

OWG chairman and group chief executive officer Datuk Richard Koh said level five will consist of 30,000 sq ft of retail and commercial space.

There will also be a banquet hall with a 1000 pax capacity.
”We will have themed restaurants on levels 59, 60 and 64,” he said after the signing ceremony at level 65 at Komtar today.

The rooftop of level 65 will be turned into a sky lounge.
There will also be a viewing deck at level 64, he said.

The highlight of the project will be the two bubble lifts linking level five to levels 59, 60, 64 and 65.

”The RM6 million lifts will afford the guests a panoramic view of the city as they go up to the top floors of Komtar,” Koh said.

The four other existing lifts will also be refurbished and upgraded.

Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng, who witnessed the signing ceremony, said this revitalisation project will complement the state government’s efforts to promote Komtar as a business hub and tourist destination.
